I thought this might be a great thread for people to add to, this is all stuff I think every person should know personally...

Drinking from aliminium cans reduces your immune system by upto a 3rd.
A smoker sleeping in the same room as a baby greatly increases their risk of SIDS.
Babies are people.

Having a mind blank atm, please add some more!!!
