Biting my nipples!

Argh! C is very bity at the moment and it really farking hurts. she even does it in her sleep, so hard last night that i woke up and yanked my nipple out from reflex - OUCH!!
Any hints? I've tried explaining to her (she is coming up to 14 months) that it hurts, that we need to be gentle, I've tried a stern no, at one point yesterday I pretty much threw her off me (we were on the bed), I've tried putting it away when she bites... No matter what I do she just giggles at me!
Help!

OMG all I can say is hugs... Islie only bit me a few times... and all I did was a stern no and put it away. which she screamed at, so didnt really work

they only advise is to tell he straight (I know she is only young) but if you keep repeating it to her and putting it away she might get the gist. Sorry really no help...

When Spikee did that it drove me MAD, he usually did it when he was teething or sick. A friend suggested that every time he bites I give him a carrot to chew, or something crunchy (and I know you're so crunchy that even your boobs crunch but they're not suitable for chewing!). It really worked for him, and for my nipples. He is seriously one of the most anti social bf kids on the planet so I was sooo glad carrot worked

Reading Nut's post reminded me what I was told to do...

Get a face cloth and wet it (even make it cold in the fridge if you want) and let bubba suck/chew on it b4 you give boobie. I have also heard of ice cubes too but hmmm maybe not....

so after I posted that she just stopped doing it rofl... will try givign her something else to bite if she starts again though!

I swear there's some unwritten law which prevents children from continuing revolting antics after you've sought help online
