Can't have a cooking forum without a dinner thread!
I'm making chicken stock so I'm thinking couscous made with some of the stock and some vegies that will hopefully arrive in our organic box today (otherwise I'll have to raid the garden) and maybe a pork sausage.
Anyone else care to share?

ooooh nice!

I'm hoping to find the energy to make pastry and then quiche with semi dried tomatoes and baby spinach.

We're transitioning into GAPS at the moment and using up all our 'illegal' foods and trying to only cook wholefoods. So, tonight dh and I had asian style fish on rice with fresh coriander, dd1 had pan fried fish and greek salad and dd2 had plain rice with greek salad, ds1 had booby milk Very Happy I'm always having to think of a couple of dishes that will satisfy everyone in one way or another.....drives me nuts!

They all sound yummy though A. Is there any reason why you and DH didn't have the Greek salad?

I had a salad with lettuce and radishes from mum's garden, some chicken, almonds and cheese. Was just what I needed today. D had some chicken and a ginger nut biscuit (made a change from plain pasta!) and C had copious amount of booby lol

Oh, I did, after my rice and fish but dh was on a ebm run for me. Just had 2.5litres sent up from SA and he had to pick it up for me.

Well, counter to my whole-foods claim in the GAPS thread we are having chicken schnitzel. DH said; "What's in that, sawdust and chicken toenails?" with salad though, so it's not all bad Wink

Sawdust and toenails ROFL!!!

Well contrary to my claim earlier in the thread we're having salmon done on the griddle with boiled potatoes, butter and garden herbs, and salad! I like it when Adam finishes work early Smile

Organic lamb shish kebabs (minus the skewers) with morrocan spiced, baked pumpkin, greek salad with goats cheese and homegrown leb cucumbers and orgasnic tzatziki. YUM!

Have to say, wish we had some leb bread and aioli to go with it! I so miss soft fresh leb bread, portugese chicken and aioli from Anar's....lip smacking delicious!!
